After actress Eliza Coupe celebrates Thanksgiving on the sunny, warm west coast she will begin planning her return home to the Seacoast.
“I’m spending Thanksgiving in Chico, California. It’s way the hell up there,” Coupe said. “I miss being home for Thanksgiving but I’ll be home for Christmas.”
For Coupe, who was born and raised in Plymouth, N.H., and now lives in Los Angeles as she works on ABC’s acclaimed comedy “Happy Endings,” “home” is anywhere from Ogunquit’s Marginal Way to Biddeford Pool.
“Maine is so special. I feel like I was brought up there. Goose Rocks was my jam, I loved shopping in Perkins Cove,” Coupe said.
As a teen, Coupe said she learned how to become a “party girl” during her summers spent on the Maine coast.
“As we got older, we would go down to Goose Rocks Beach and flirt with Canadian boys. I became a bit of a party animal,” she admitted.
